Dr. Darryl Hart discusses “Calvin and American Calvinism” in the fifth installment of our Thursday evening lectures. In this lecture, Hart looks at the debates of the nineteenth century between Princeton (Charles Hodge) and Mercersburg (John Williamson Nevin)  Seminaries, particularly as the understood the sacramental and liturgical elements of the tradition.
