No, the sun has not yet come out in my part of DC. That photo above is my car after the last weekend blizzard, December 19, which was the region’s largest snowfall ever in the month of December. Currently, we are enduring perhaps the largest single-storm snowfall in DC history (comparisons to the Knickerbocker Storm in 1922). Not only is Washington having a huge winter of snow, almost all of it is falling on weekends.

In the interest of safety, we are canceling services on Sunday, February 7.

I have posted a new sermon on The Law and Christian Comfort, taking Matthew 5 and the Heidelberg Catechism Lord’s Day 44 as the text. I encourage you to use this as your Lord’s Day instruction since it will likely be difficult to get to the means of grace this week.
