About Christ Reformed

O foolish men and slow of heart to believe

in all that the prophets have spoken!

Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things

and then to enter into his glory?

Christ’s strong words on the road to Emmaus could just as easily be addressed to the church today. Christ bore witness to himself and his suffering and glory as the fulfillment of all Scripture. For forty days, Luke tells us, he opened the minds of his disciples to understand the Scriptures in this same way – and likewise to confess their Christ. In the preaching and writing that fills the New Testament, this is the confession we consistently see.

At Christ Reformed Church, the Scriptures are at the center of all we do, and we seek to faithfully bear witness to the suffering and glory of Christ by preaching Christ and Him crucified. Our worship and church life are shaped by the biblical pattern of confessing our guilt, proclaiming the Lord’s grace, and living lives of gratitude.
